March is Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women throughout history. In honor of this month and even beyond March, we want to share that CauseLabs is a Woman Owned Agency that is making a difference every day through its projects and its operations.
CauseLabs is a web agency that specializes in strategy, web design and development, and other web services for growing businesses, nonprofits, and social impact companies. CauseLabs is owned by Sheryle and Michael Gillihan; both have been working in the tech industry for over a decade. Sheryle, CEO since 2016, acquired CauseLabs with the goal of using technology to make a positive impact on the world.
A New Podcast: Woman Owned Agency
One of the ways that CauseLabs is making a difference is through their podcast initiative, Woman Owned Agency. This podcast features interviews with women who didn’t always know they were on an entrepreneurial journey but have overcome a lot and are using their agency to make a difference. The podcast is currently hosted by CauseLabs owner and CEO Sheryle Gillihan and releases new episodes monthly. It is available on most streaming platforms including Spotify, Stitcher, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Pandora, and more.
The podcast is a great resource for businesses striving to work with more woman-owned businesses, women who are interested in starting their own businesses, or those interested in hearing these inspiring stories and gaining insights from these very talented women. It provides insights into the challenges and opportunities that women face in business ownership.
In fact, it’s been spliced out, but during one of the episodes we had to pause to make sure the kids had a ride home from school. This is real life, this is real ownership. The podcast also highlights the achievements of women who are making a difference in the world and how sometimes our projects can come back around and make a difference in our own lives.
In addition to their podcast, CauseLabs is also committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. While this isn’t solely about investing in women, we have more than doubled our percentage of female partners and suppliers working to create solutions that are accessible to everyone.
Overall, we think that CauseLabs and the women on our podcast are great examples of woman-owned agencies that are making a difference. We encourage you to check out our services for web design and web development, as well as other services and free resources for social impact, fundraising, and other great offers that are shared in the podcast episodes. Thanks in advance for your support of our Woman Owned Agency initiative.
